Ideal for use on round, square, or irregular shapes in confined spaces, eg when a pipe is in a trench or against a wall.  Drop forged steel jaws are both hardened and tempered for maximum strength. The tensile steel chain loops quickly around the pipe and, once locked, holds it in place preventing slippage.
